1. What is Mission Pick?
Mission Pick is a mobile app for Android and iOS users that allows you to find quick jobs (“Missions”) in your area. A mission is represented by a pin on the map in our mobile application and just cost you 3 minutes to half an hour to complete and get paid from $5 (i.e. 100 points) to $30 (i.e. 600 points), depend on the complexity.
2. How to play?
Download Mission Pick app.
Go to or and install Mission Pick app.
Find a mission.
Search for missions in your area by locating the blue dots on the map or scrolling through the list view. If there are no missions close to you right now, check again soon! We’re adding new missions from time to time.
Complete Missions.
Pick a mission from the map or list, review its requirements, and claim it when you arrive. You can complete as many missions as you want each day. Completed missions go through validation; each mission is reviewed to confirm that the work completed was accurate. After being validated, your mission will either be approved or rejected. If the mission is rejected, you need to re-do or that mission will be opened for other agents again. No points for rejected mission.

4. How long do missions take?
When you open up a mission brief, you’ll see estimation on how long that particular mission will take, how many questions to answers and photos you’ll need to submit.
Mission length varies; the shortest missions can take as little as several minutes, while longer missions (with higher reward) can take up to 20 minutes or above.
If you are in an area with poor internet connection, you can try connecting to the store’s Wi-Fi or save the mission for later submission. When you have better connection you can submit your answers. Each mission must be completed and submitted within designated hours since the mission is claimed.
5. How to claim a mission?
You would receive message from the App when new missions are available. Once the mission is claimed, you would be allowed up to 4 hours to complete the mission and upload all required answers. In general a mission will only need 5-20 minutes to complete, depend on the complexity. A simple and easy to read instructions in the App will guide you how to get the mission completed step by step.
6. How much does it pay?
Each mission rewards from 100 points or above, depends on location and complexity. The points can be converted into cash which will go to your Alipay, PayPal or Octopus O! ePay account. You earn just by snapping and clicking a few buttons!
7. Who posts jobs on Mission Pick?
Mission Pick missions are initiated by consumer brands or retailers seeking on-the-ground visibility into the conditions of their products or events across multiple locations. They are looking to verify products are available on the shelf and displayed/priced correctly or that marketing events are done accurately and on-time. Most missions require you to document your work and product/event compliance or noncompliance through geo-tagged photos.
8. What will I be asked to do?
Most of the missions require you to arrive a retail store to do some simple checking and record by photos or audio. Sometimes you may need to ask a few questions to the shopkeeper regarding pricing or product availability.
9. Will I be making purchase during missions?
Most of our missions won’t require you to make any purchase, only very minimal mission upon our clients request may require a minimum purchase. If a mission has a minimum purchase, it will be listed in the mission brief with other details. Your reimbursement for the required purchase is included in the points listed for that mission.
10. Are there any required phone settings or hardware requirement for the Mission Pick app?
Yes. We need to locate you when using the Mission Pick app, especially when taking photo/video for the mission. When you install the app, it will ask for all needed permissions, so be sure to answer YES. If you’re having problems then make sure the settings are correct on your phone before you get started. Also, we will also need to complete a training mission before accessing the real missions. On one hand, it allows you to get used to the work flow, on the other hand, we can also evaluate if your photo resolution meet our minimum standard.
11. How and when do I get paid?
All jobs would be reviewed by our validators before the points are rewarded to you. Usually this doesn’t take long, but sometimes when we have a very high volume of missions, it may take a few working days. Don’t worry, we would get missions reviewed as quickly as possible.
You can check the status of your mission submission by going to “已認領任務” in the app menu. After you’ve completed a mission, you’ll see one of these status:
- 等候批核
means the mission is subject to validation. - 重新作答
means the information submitted may not be correct, you are allowed 18 hours to resubmit the answers again; if you cannot catch the time, no points will be granted. - 拒絕
means the mission is being rejected due to material mistakes/inconsistencies found. No points will be granted.
All points received will be stored in your Mission Pick account and valid for 1 year upon your registration, no matter on which day you earn them. You can exchange for cash when points required are met. All cash payments are securely processed through Alipay, PayPal or Octopus O! ePay.

Your Mission Pick profile email should be same as your Alipay, PayPal or Octopus O! ePay account email so as to facilitate the payment. Payments will be made within 10 working days.
12. What if I am approached by a store staff?
If you are approached by store staff while doing a mission, you could react depends on the situation. You could tell them you are taking photos of a product to get a friend or family member’s opinion. Some agents like to wear headphones while doing photo audits, so it looks like they are just listening to music. If they ask you to stop, then you should comply immediately and politely. In any circumstances, you should not disclose that you are checking on behalf of a particular company.
13. When will I receive the reward?
After you submit the answers, our team will check through one by one. Once the validation is finished (normally within 3 working days), the points will be awarded to your account automatically and you would receive a notice in the App. In some cases you may receive inquiries if the answers look strange. You would have 18 hours to re-do or we may need to release the mission again and you may not get any reward in this case.
14. How can I get extra points beside completing missions?
You can earn extra points in following ways:
a) Refer your friends by asking them to input your referral code during registration and completed the training mission.
b) Share the App in your social media. (e.g. LinkedIn, facebook, instagram)
c) Join different surveys which are released from time to time. Those are some great way to boost your points.
15. What’s the best way to use Mission Pick? How do I maximize its potential?
Each Mission Pick agent has a performance score based on several factors, including rate of successful submission, accuracy and active level. This score allows Mission Pick to match more complex and higher reward missions to talented agents. Thus, as you raise your performance score, you will increase your chance of being selected for higher-paying missions.
To boost your performance score and earn as much extra cash as possible, be thorough and professional about the work that you do and submit. When you consistently perform with high standard, we will invite you to our private workforce with access to missions with extra rewards.
